    • Route: From Haus Vira, head toward Moos and continue on to Blatten. From Blatten, the trail leads to the idyllic hamlet of Zum See. The trail continues to Furi, an important hub with a cable car connection. From Furi, you can hike back toward Winkelmatten and Haus Vira via Schweigmatten.
    • Highlights: Traditional Valaisan houses in Blatten and Zum See.

    • Route: Walk from Haus Vira through Moos and Schweigmatten to Furi. From Furi, a beautiful trail leads up to the hamlet of Zmutt. Zmutt is a traditional little village with old wooden houses. After spending some time in Zmutt, hike back to Zermatt and from there to Haus Vira.

After your meal, you can either hike down to Zermatt or take the Sunnegga cable car to the village and from there back to Haus Vira.

    • Route: Walk from Haus Vira to the center of Zermatt. From Zermatt, the trail leads through Herbrigg (known for one of the oldest barns in Europe) onto the Panoramaweg toward Zmutt. This section offers beautiful views of Zermatt. From Zmutt, continue on to Furi and from there back to Zermatt.
    • Highlights: Historic buildings in Zermatt and Zmutt, panoramic views, cultural insights along the Kulturweg.
    • Estimated duration: 3–4 hours (depending on pace and breaks).

    • Highlights: Winkelmatten Chapel, views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt.
    • Estimated duration: 2–3 hours (one way to Ried).
