Evelyn and Emil Perren, along with our daughter Andrea.
Evelyn was born in Cuba, and I grew up in Zermatt. We are happily married and live in Zermatt with Andrea.
We have been renting out various beautiful vacation apartments in Havana, in the Vedado district, since 2016.

+2We stayed here from September 24th to 26th. We filmed a room tour, so we don't have photos, but the room was exactly the same as in the pictures, and it was very clean and smelled nice! 1. The TV can connect to YouTube and other platforms. 2. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an oven and dishwasher. There are seasonings like rose salt and pepper, a capsule coffee machine, and they even gave us complimentary champagne and chocolate – amazing! 3. The amenities are complete, and they even provided bath salts – so relaxing after a hike! 4. You can take the bus (large suitcases need to be placed in the back of the bus; you put them in before boarding, there's a rope to pull them open). It's at the last bus stop. Walking with your luggage to the guesthouse is easy and flat; the time is uncertain, but it's about five minutes – not far. The guesthouse has an elevator. 5. The location is quiet and perfect for a slow-paced lifestyle; enjoying coffee on the balcony in the morning is very pleasant. It's close to the cable car to Glacier Paradise, and taking the cogwheel train from the station is easier. The path to Findelbach station is quite steep and difficult to walk, but you can climb up if you want to see the Zermatt from different angles. 6. The host responded quickly, was very friendly, and provided tourist information and bus timetables.

It's in a relatively quiet area of Zermatt, but the Matterhorn is clearly visible from the balcony, which was the happiest thing about the trip. It's conveniently located near the starting point of the red line bus, and the green line cable car station is a short walk away, making transportation quite convenient. I'm so grateful to God for finding this place, and luckily, the morning of October 6th was sunny and cloudless, allowing us to sit on the balcony and admire the Matterhorn bathed in sunlight. The living room was spacious. Although it was probably below 10 degrees Celsius outside, it was very warm inside. The scent of lemongrass was very relaxing as soon as you entered. The sofa was so large and comfortable that I even took a nap. Everything was a delightful surprise! The kitchen had everything we needed. The host responded to our messages quickly and was always ready to help us with anything we needed. They even provided us with champagne, chocolate, capsule coffee, tea bags, etc., making the end of our honeymoon perfect. The bathroom had the best-separated wet and dry area I've seen in Switzerland, with a bathtub and even bath powder!! Coming home after a long day of walking was incredibly relaxing. A full view of the Matterhorn from the balcony! I love that this place is up a little higher in Zermatt away from the crowds. I got off the train and was shocked with how jam packed the streets were in the village. I know it’s high season but it was nuts. The beauty of this place is that you can visit all the village has to offer then retreat to your peaceful “home” away from the crowds. There are great restaurants nearby. Not too crowded. I enjoyed Waldhaus and loved the drinks at Gesepy. The gondola to Matterhorn is just a few minutes walk away. I took a taxi to the studio when I arrived in town at the train station, which was very easy. Yesterday, after visiting the village, I just walked back. ☺ Very welcoming owners, the facilities were great with a ski storage room, lift, induction hob and many other amenities. The bathroom was clean and modern with storage for our own items. The bed was particularly comfortable and we had no disturbances from other residents. The balcony with the view of the Matterhorn was a particularly amazing feature. The apartment is a good 25 minute walk into the village, however the free bus was very helpful. It is also up a hill so coming back in the night may take a bit longer but it’s so worth it. We loved our stay here and would love to come back.

+0We stayed as a couple on a ski trip, and Evelyn was absolutely wonderful with us from the very first moment.
On our arrival day, my flight was delayed by almost three hours and I ended up arriving in Zermatt very late at night. Despite this, she was constantly in touch, making sure we were okay and helping us with the correct train connections. The welcome was truly top-level.
The apartment itself is exceptional: fully renovated, modern, spacious (which is not easy to find in Zermatt), and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need, all new and of high quality.
The bathroom amenities are far beyond what you would normally expect, even compared to many hotels: soap, shampoo, cream, makeup remover, and every small detail thoughtfully provided.
The views are simply spectacular. Waking up and seeing the Matterhorn directly from the window — even from the bed — is something truly special.
The location is ideal: a very quiet area, yet only two bus stops from the main gondola to the ski area (Matterhorn Express). Both Evelyn and Emil are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on making your stay perfect.
There is honestly nothing negative to say. The beds are very comfortable, the apartment is bright, spacious, beautifully renovated, and extremely well maintained.
We had a fantastic stay, would absolutely come back, and highly recommend this apartment. A real gem in Zermatt.

The area is quiet and peaceful, so we could really take our time and enjoy the view.The host was very kind and welcoming, and greeted us warmly when we checked in.The apartment was even better than the photos. The bathroom was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole place was neat and well maintained. It was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at.It’s a little away from the town center, but there’s a bus stop nearby.We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Zermatt.
